Course Overview

The Sustainable Trade Associate (STA) membership level is for entry-level employees working in International Trade, licensed HGV and delivery drivers, and for those currently studying for an International Trade, Supply Chain Management or Sustainability-related further or higher education programme or apprenticeship.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants for the Sustainable Trade Associate (STA) membership level of the IST are expected to meet the following entry requirements.

  • Entry level Employees: 1 year work experience and a minimum Level 5 Leaving Certificate.

OR

  • Students: Further or higher education students or apprentices currently undertaking a level 6, 7 or 8 education programme in Supply Chain Management, International Trade or Sustainability-related discipline

OR

  • Drivers: CPC Driver’s License or Professional Driving Certificate
