For entry level employees working in International Trade

The Sustainable Trade Associate (STA) membership level is for entry level employees working in International Trade, licensed HGV and delivery drivers, and for those currently studying for an International Trade, Supply Chain Management or Sustainability-related further or higher education programme or apprenticeship.

Through the IST, drivers, students and those new to the work force will have opportunities for professional and educational progression and networking opportunities and can avail of valuable education, support and networking opportunities to aid their future career goals.

Minimum Requirements Applicants for the Sustainable Trade Associate (STA) membership level of the IST are expected to meet the following entry requirements.

Level 5+ or equivalent qualification and 1-year operations or administration work experience.

Current Students: Copy of student card or registration letter

Drivers: Driver’s License & CPC Card / Professional Drivers Certificate

Annual CPD

Minimum 6 CPD hours within 12 months of joining the IST / renewing membership.

The price for membership is €95.00 per Year.
