Sustainable Trade Associate (STA)

For entry-level employees working in International Trade

The Sustainable Trade Associate (STA) membership level is for entry level employees working in International Trade and for licensed HGV and delivery drivers. It is also for those currently studying for an International Trade, Supply Chain Management or Sustainability-related further or higher education programme or apprenticeship.

Entry Requirements:

Through the IST, entry-level staff, drivers, and students can avail of valuable education, support and networking opportunities to aid their future career goals.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants for the Sustainable Trade Associate (STA) membership level of the IST are expected to meet the following entry requirements.

  • Leaving Certificate / NFQ Level 5 or equivalent qualification and 1-year operations or administration work experience.

OR

  • Current Students: Copy of student card or registration letter

OR

  • Drivers: Driver’s License & CPC Card or Professional Drivers Certificate

Annual CPD

Minimum 6 CPD hours within 12 months of date of joining or renewing membership of the IST. Click here to learn more. 

Fees

The annual membership fee for Sustainable Trade Associates is €95.
